Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust

This is a vast Foundation Trust covering: North Manchester General Hospital, Saint Mary’s Hospital, Trafford Hospital, Withington Community Hospital (currently not offering maternity services), Wythenshawe Hospital and other hospitals in the area.

Their website says:

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) was formed on 1st October 2017 following the merger of Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) and University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (UHSM).

Each hospital within the trust offers different services – it’s best to check the individual webpages for details.

You can find data about Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust maternity care on the NHS Data Dashboard here (best attempted on a laptop or PC as it’s a pretty big and complicated Power BI interface!):

It’s a bit confusing to begin with! But you select the trust you’re interested in from the drop down, and then you can look at the various data sets available and see how the trust compares nationally. In the image below, as an example, I’ve selected the NMI+ dataset which looks at how Chesterfield Royal Hospital compares with Derby and Burton on User Experience, from 2019.

Many thanks to Jen for requesting these policies from Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and submitting them to Big Birthas. Information on how to submit a Freedom of Information request can be found here.
